TCC launched new drinks on menu, The Perfect Match and Lychee Jazz. The Perfect Match in fact is Latte with hitch of Rose syrup, not too great to shout about. As for Lychee Jazz is a fizzy lychee drink, can lychee will certainly taste better for our palate .

There were varities of choice , mix of western, Japanese and local Thai breakfast. Unlike Arnoma Swissotel, the breakfast here was much more relax & peace, guests staying here were mostly tourist from Japan, Europe, Hong Kong. Taking food from the spread was very much in order and no hurry at all.
My first breakfast experience at the hotel...
We are typical shopaholic, we skipped our lunch to battle inside ChatuChak - biggest weekend market in Bangkok.
The most enjoyable shopping spree here is practicing bargain power....
Happen to see crowd around this Cocunut Ice- Cream Stall, scoop of coconut ice cream served inside coconut husk with coconut flesh . Innovative idea . A perfect Ice - cream to reduce heat during hot weather.

A welcome dinner for Shu Fen back from Shanghai . I had introduced Seafood Paradise @ Defu Lane previously, Seafood Paradise started from a small Tze Chai stall in a very secluded industry area - Defu Lane. Through years , it has grown to an air-conditioned and well known restaurant at Defu Lane. In March this year, it opened another outlet at Singapore Flyers, where we had our dinner tonight.
Compare with Defu Lane, Singapore Flyers was nicely designed and more comfortable , service staffs were much more attentive, food served was much faster nevertheless the food taste remains excellent.

Dessert... a brilliant choice to wrao up the entire dinner.
However, only limited choice of hot dessert.

Butter Crab
Creamy and tasty

Bugis Junction basement 01 had undergone a major revamp, which was re-opened few months ago There are many new food establishments , and one of them is Hong Guo restaurant served Yunnan cuisine. I had my food adventure at the outlet this afternoon, ordered the signature Guo Qiao Mee Xian, which is one of Yunnan famous dishes more than 100 years. I had heard the legend of the dish... a attentive wife prepared the dish for her scholar-to-be husband. Basically, Guo Qiao Mee Xian is Mee Hoon soup with different ingredients, the soup must be pipping hot when served enable the ingredients to be cooked. Verdict; the restaurant had modified the dish, if you have never tried it before, give it a try. For myself, this will be my first and last time to the restaurant, it did have the essence of the dish at all.

Signature Guo qiao mee xian
Raw ingredients served, need to pour all into a big bowl of hot soup . Overall: Passable
Meat dumpling

I had striked off Xing Wang Hong Kong Café since years ago. Reason being, their food are not fantastic at all, although they are so call a Hong Kong Tea café that serve HK cuisine . They couldn’t even met 40% of local HK normal café standard, tea isn’t fragrance, baked rice taste bland and the method of preparing is different . However, tonight the café surprised me by Mochi with Peanut. Its were mochi (Glutinous Rice ball) coated with grinded peanuts. The Mochi were very soft , and went perfectly with grinded peanuts

The chocolate fudge cake is moist, spongy, light and the taste of chocolate mixed with some kind of cream (which I could describe) . However, I find netizen has over-rated the cake, I personally would prefer Lana Chocolate cake at Greenwood Ave, it gives you nostalgic feel, very homely type , not too sweet, moist, soft, spongy, light and most importantly the has strong taste of Chocolate …
