Chinese New Year 2008


Gong Xi Fa Cai ! We changed our New Year eve reunion dinner venue this year, not the same restaurant which we patronise regularly - Zi Yean restaurant but Keng Kee Restaurant located at Alexandra Village . Mr Seetoh had gave good review on their food before. My elder sister family and Connie joined us for the dinner too. Sing Yi was so excited over able to join us for the reunion dinner, she even bought T-shirt to spruce herself up in order to satisfy mum regulation.Relatively surprised that the food served was pipping hot, in large portion, fresh despict the restaurant was crowded with customer. Waiting time for food was short too.

Fortune Yusheng was served with auspicious phrases . Perhap Yusheng wasnt their signature dish, find the yusheng palatable but I prefer our homemade Fortune Yusheng with additional ingriedent .. polmelo , dried persimmons, winter melon etc. Our Yushengs are normally more frutties, cruncy, fragrance ,refreshing and tastier. Maybe because we used vegetarian slice raw fish instead of the fresh raw fish.








Roasted Chicken

Taste fantistic, skin was crispy, once bit u could hear the "kaka" sound. Although it was a roast chicken, meat was succelent. Not dry at all. Definitely able to meet 5 star hotel standard.








Deep Fried "Soon Hock" with light soy sauce

The fish weight more than 1.2 kg, it was so fresh that we finished the entire fish, the head was not spared too.










Pork Ribs With Cream Sauce
Below our expectation, the ribs tasted as its were not marinated at all. It is a dish purely deep fried ribs coated with cream sauce. Tasteless !
