Secret Receipt

Strongly recommend this cake from secret receipt, I fall in love with this banana cake just only first bite. It gives very rich and robust chocolate taste, non processed coco taste with chunk of bananas. Not to worry, it is not so sweet like most of the chocolate , but , it is still sinful to have chocolate with banana cake. Fat ! Fat !

Imperial Treasure @ Ion

I enjoy having Hi - Tea at Imperial Treasure which usually they serve hi - tea menu between 2.30 - 5.30 pm, set tea menu priced ranging from $5 - $13.50 depending on no of items and type of food. I offen order $7.00 set that come with noodles serve with deep fried spare ribs, 2 pcs of Dim-Sum and a cup of HK milk tea. The noodles infact is the common instant noodle that we could get it from supermarket, however, the soup base is tasty and without any msg, the cook knows the tactic to cook the noodle very well, not soggy but springy.

Finally, I had a chance to taste the world famous pork chop bun at Macau. When we arrived at the eatery, there was a very long queue queuing for the pork chop bun, although the queue was very long almost 50 people ahead of me, less than 20 mins was my turn to order, in fact I find is their system and staff efficiency that cut down my queuing times.

Lets talk about the famous bun, the meat is humongous, the bun is soft (i believe is home made by themself), the pork chop is well marinated , tender & juicy. Thumb up !

The Ship Restaurant @ Shaw

I believed The Ship restaurant is not strange to anyone, it had been in Singapore for 3 decades opened by a group of hainanese , this restaurant came to our mind should thanks to Jenny, helping us to recall this nostagic restaurant by suggest it for our dinner. Before stepping into the restaurant, you will be greeted by overseas article writing reviews on the restaurant, pasted on the glass panel. Once I stepped into the restaurant, I started to remincise those days that I had my lunch here when I was young, the furniture remain the same, the lighting still dim, the stone flooring still there, the port-hole toilent still there.

Lets not talk about their food, we are mainly attracted by the good reviews for their sliced fish noodle to be here, hmmm. So sad, the dish was so popular that the item had already sold out in the afternoon, nevetheless, the dishes that we ordered were tasty. I had Grilled pork chop that came with pineapple sauce, the pork chop was tender and juicy that came taste perfect with pineapple sauce that gives sour and sweet taste.

Wan Hao Restaurant

Wan Hao at Marriot hotel is currently running a special promotion for their dim sum; $18.80 ++ per person al la carte buffet for 20 over items of dim sum. This offer is only valid for weekday lunch .

Wan hao didnt disappoint me despite at such a great value price, the dim sums are fresh, well seasoned, and even the deep fried items werent not oily and yet crispy, the golden browny colour reflected that they only deep fried the items once ordered.

Recommended one by one our friends that Grand mum kitchen serves authentic malaysia food. I ordered one of the sets that cost $15.00, the drumlet was hot when served, meat remain tender and well seasoned with spice. Rice wasnt the ordinary rice, colourful rice with several favours to complement the dishes. The taste same as the ususal nasi brani at the hawker centre and food court, nothing fanstatic to shout about. However, if you like to be served and dine at a comfort area without any pressure, its still worth to pay for additional dollars to be served .
