This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant, my first experience plus the mouth drooling visual in the menu captivated me to be back here again. There is extensive variety of food that you could choose from the menu. At less than $25 per person, we could have a pretty decent 3 course meal. Set meal comes with main course , selection of unique dessert and home made tea. This visit didn't fail me , I would definitely come back again !

From extensive varieties of dessert they offered, pretty certain MOF specialise in Dessert.
macha Ice Cream , Japan sweet potatoes with red bean topping .

Serve d with Maple syrup, there were Japan Jellies to be dipped with Maple Syrup. The Jellies known to be healthy and reduce fat. (stated on the card) . Wonderful dessert to end my meal.

Seafood Toji Set
Served with piping hot hot plate, food will never turned cold . The gravy was excellent !

Despite today is a weekday, crowd could be seen at Melben Seafood which is primarily famous in Crab Bee Hoon. The thick, milky, tasty soup with crab is one of their signature dish. Butter crab was another fabulous dish came with buttery and thick gravy goes well with bun. Do not order the Shrimps wrapped with beancurb skin, too salty and not really palatable.

I had my lunch at Aerin restaurant this afternoon, my mum chose the restaurant from the menu pictures. The visuals looked appealing to my mum especially black cod . My comments on this restaurant will be too pricey . Main course has been over-priced, basing on the enviroment, ambience ...of course plus the presentation of the food. To me, it is a casual dining restaurant , but they had tagged the price similar as fine dining restaurant, $28 for Black Cod & $28 for duck confit. I would gave the dessert high scores which definitely worth the value. The desserts tasted wonderful especially their signature Baked Apple Pie... had the perfect mix of sweet, sour , crispyness. Divine Pie !

Duck confit
Oven baked the duck leg, goes well with sauce and the onion marinnated with marmalade .

Black Cod
Served with Green pea and pasta. Very light & healthy dish.

Warm Chocolate Pudding
Served wit Swirl rassberry ice-cream. I have sweet tooth, so I loved it.

Signature Baked Apple Pie
Shocked by he huge pie when served. Oven baked puff pastry hidden with chunky of apple and rasin come with vanilla bean ice-cream.
Awesome ! Must try !
Hot Chocolate Mint
Unique drink !

I am a fan of macha (Green Tea), Sun & Moon tiramisu cake captured my heart that at time made me crave for it. Here, the cake has strong aroma of green tea fragrance, cake not too sweet, the texture is smooth and soft which literally melt in your mouth.

I had heard too many wonderful reviews of this fine dining Chinese fusion restaurant. Taste Paradise owns by Paradise group Singapore which has a total of 3 outlets in Singapore name differently. They served the food in small portion but presented it artistically, nicely place the food with garnishing. You will have doubt that you are dining in a Chinese restaurant, but western restaurant instead. I always believe food is an art, not purely to fill up your stomach, but satisfy your palate, colourful your visual, reward your stomach, relax my sense. Taste Paradise fulfilled all four requirements. Their services were excellent, sincere, plate cleared on time, food served systematically, tea cup forever filled with water……

The wasabi prawn was excellent , frankly I dislike wasabi however this change my perception on wasabi. The well prawn coated with wasabi sauce tasted divine. Pork Ribs at the right proportion mixed of fat and meat, moist and well seasoned. Soup was very speciall – a kind of fruits (which I really dun know wat the English name as the manager recommended in mandarin) boiled with pork loin, damn refreshing, light , u could find a drop of oil at all. Mee Suan taste good too. We completed our with dessert – surprised Seasame paste with ice – cream . Seasame paste was very smooth, and went perfectly well with ice cream. The taste of the food still lingering my mouth . I will definitely come back again !

Oh Gosh ! I almost forgotten my password to my blog. It was a busy, hectic, intense week for me that I could find times to key in my food trail experience. In fact I had my lunch with my family at Zui Fair Price restaurant located at Upper Thomson Road yesterday. I had patronised the eatery a few times previously, each experience made me missed their food. However, last afternoon changed my perception on the eatery, the standard had dropped tremedously. We ordered their signature dish garlic Chicken , the day special deep fried fragrance pork belly , boiled gourd with pork soup, steam seasbass, enoki mushroom with bencurb, fried vegetable. The dishes were either only passable or too salty. Deep fried fragrance pork belly tasted weird & dry. Not likely to patronise them any more .
